Saudi side is moving towards Manchester City face

Al-Hilal will play Manchester City in the last 16 of the Club World Cup after the final victory 2-0 on Pachuca on the Mexican side.

The Saudi side jumped to RB Salzburg to classify -behind the winners of the Real Madrid group after the Spanish giants saw the Austrians 3-0 in Philadelphia.

This meant that Salem’s goals at Dawsari and Marcos Leonardo were sufficient for Al-Hilal to get a place in the knockout phase.

Pachuca, already eliminated after losing its first two games, was animated, but an Al-Hilal defense was superior by Kalidou Koulibaly, who ruined the danger of Salomon Rondon and restricted Mexicans to long-range shots and half a chance.

Neves found him in a lot of space in the box, and this time the Brazilian rounded the goalkeeper and attached the ball into an empty net.

It is likely that Manchester City providing a much more severe test than Pachuca and Neves said that Al-Hilal had to play the same way they did it in his 1-1 tie with the real one last week.
