Borussia Dortmund advanced to the 16th of the World Club Cup 2025 with a 1-0 victory on the Ulsan South Korean side.
Daniel Svensson scored the only goal of the game in 36 minutes in a Niko Kovac team contest largely, but was frustrated on several occasions by an inspired Jo Hyeon-Woo on the goal of Ulsan already eliminated.
Dortmund required only one point to secure qualification in the knockout stages, however, courtesy of the Fluminense draw with Mamelodi Sundowns, the German club went through as winners of the F.
Dortmund will discover the group E -runner -up, which could be Inter Milan, River Plate or Monterrey.

Dominant Dortmund frustrated in front of the goal
In what was a frustrating but mostly comfortable of 90 minutes for Dortmund in Cincinnati, the first real possibility of the game fell to Julian Ryerson in Dortmund after a quarter of an hour. But the effort of the Norwegian back rolled up from the brand.
Less than ten minutes later, Dortmund should have been in front of when an incisive exchange between Guirassy and Bellingham saw that the first was reduced to the goal.
However, his weak effort made little to have problems between the Ulsan sticks.
The South Korea goalkeeper again showed his credentials moments later, when Guirassy had another glorious opportunity to give Dortmund the leadership, but the 33 -year -old stopper was equal to him.
Bellingham then flew before the ancient city of Birmingham and the Sunderland player made an effort from a narrow angle.
Dortmund was showing his superiority, dominating possession and creating possibilities, but the Bundesliga side was shown to waste in front of the goal.
Prior to the kick off, the TQL stadium had promised six goals per game in the tournament. This statistics seemed to be in danger of being significantly hindered here, but in 36 minutes, Svensson finally broke the dead point, shooting home from the disinterested disinterested one of Bellingham.

Felix Nmecha pushed a shot that was narrowly struck in front of the post before I saved impressive from both Pascal Groß and Guirassy, while Kovac’s side went in search of a second before the break, but for nothing.
