Manager Lee Carsley greeted his “prominent” players when England U21 reached a second consecutive end of the European Championship.
Harvey Elliott de Liverpool, who was also part of the Young Lions Squad, which raised the trophy two years ago, scored a strong temperature in Bratislava as a Carsley’s side left the Netherlands 2-1.
In something of repetition of the semifinal of senior men in euros last year in Germany, Elliott gave England the leadership just after the mark early before the substitute Noah Ohio level for the Dutch ten minutes later.
But where Ollie Watkins was the hero of England 12 months ago, it was the Reds midfielder who stole the program here, with the reduction of the winner with a good solo effort with five remaining five minutes.

The result means that England advances until the end of Saturday, where they will try to defend their crown against France or Germany, who have already faced the tournament group stage.
“I thought the team was prominent,” Carsley told Channel 4 after the game.
“I thought the way we started the game was really exciting. They (the players in England) were disappointed in the middle of the time without scoring, but I thought the second half played with a real resilience.
“We had to defend La Caixa and James (Beadle) had to save good savings. But we settled and overcome each other. It shows the importance of the whole squad. I thought that the subsonals had a really impact. So we can wait for the final.”

The Chief of England also praised Elliott, whose experience and performances have been central to the team’s success.
“Harvey (Elliott) and Charlie (Cresswell) did not play a lot in the last campaign. We knew the importance they would have. They have taken on board, the responsibility to drive the rest of the workforce.
“Harvey has been prominent. He is one of the many that has really been raised. James McATEE, Jay Stansfield: You could go through the team. They develop as a team and as a squad.
“It’s a shame we only have one game because I think this team is excellent.”
With temperatures increasing above 30 degrees Celsius before the Carsley’s launch also revealed how his young starry had prepared for 90 -minute energy.
“We knew he was going to be hot,” said Carsely. “We have done all our training sessions during the hottest of the day to prepare for these types of events.
“We have not moved away from the sun, we have exposed them. Even to the point of giving players the opportunity to sunbathe after training and exposed to heat.”
Before the final of this weekend, which starts at 20:00 (UK), Carsley’s prospects were simple: “We try not to worry too much about the opposition. Our team is the most important.”
