Mariska Hargitay Go to dad Mickey Hargitay After discovering he wasn’t her biological father – and they had an emotional conversation.
“I went up to my father’s house and I was hysterical and in a state and he was – what about this metaphor, my dad physically was building me a house. So I’m driving up to the house he was building and facing me,” shared Mariska, 61, 61, during her “Call his father” podcast Appearance on Wednesday, June 25. “It was, ‘What are you talking? Are you mad? That’s not.’” ”

“The irony is that I am more like my father than anyone in our whole family. I’m a small-Mickey, so it was a very painful moment,” he continued. “I say this is the moment I became an adult and it is so visible to me because I was in so much pain. I was so overwhelmed.”
Mariska remembered seeing similar pain in Mickey, which made her change her attitude to the parenting revealing.
“It doesn’t matter what I feel, I love … and we’ve done here, we’ve done here,” he said. “I pretended to believe it, and we never talked about it again.”

During the “Call Challenge Daddy” podcast on Wednesday, Mariska remembered how she discovered Nelson while at a collector’s home who owned many of her mother’s memorable things. The actress said she felt “Jolt” when Nelson’s name was initially stolen.
“I knew in one second,” he said. “I don’t know (how). I think my whole life, all the millions of seconds … Little pieces of memory of a moment of things I caught that went into my subconscious. Then I said, ‘Who is Nelson?’
Mariska continued, “I saw the blood draining out of his face and he made a sort of panic and turned white and said, ‘Oh, probably not true, it’s probably not true.’ And that’s when I knew. ”
Her parent was confirmed after seeing a picture of Sardelli.
“I really thought my life was over,” continued Mariska. “The same thing I got, the same thing I was rooted in, was no longer the same thing that was constant. My identity was just crushed.”
