Prince William He has a warning to anyone hanging around Robert Irwin: Stay sharp.
The Prince of Wales, 43, left a very funny message to Irwin, 21, and a radio host Scott Mills During the Tuesday, June 24, an episode of Mills’ BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.
“Good morning, Scott, or should I say g’day, Scott? I know you have the great Robert Irwin on the show this morning, (a) a great ambassador for the Geography Award,” said William, directing the environmental award given to five winners each year. “Sorry I can’t be with you both this morning, hoping to catch up with you soon.”
William continued, “You are very invited to a terrestrial award in Rio in Brazil in November. It’s going to be a great event, a great show.”
The Royal British then issued a warning to Mills, 51.
“Watch, Scott, Robert likes to pull randomly terrible animals and creatures out of his pockets while on anyone’s show and talk to them,” he said. “So, always watch your back that tarantula or something suddenly does not call suddenly on your desk.”
Earlier on the radio show, Irwin, who is the son of Late Wildlife Educator Steve IrwinHaving told listeners facts about animals and discuss his role as an ambassador for the Earth Award.
Iron announced his role as an ambassador in September 2024.

Irwin previously joined William for the Earthshot Awards in Cape Town, South Africa, in November 2024. A previous year, the young conservationist gave William, the founder of the Earthshot Award, sweet shout, called him “a real Beacon for everyone in the field of conservation” in an interview with an interview with an interview with an interview with an interview with an interview with an interview with an interview People.
“It is difficult to put in words how huge Earthshot is for wildlife conservation, for climate action, to the world.
