Three police officers in Kenya have been charged with killing a 31-year-old blogger who died in custody earlier this month.
Albert Oywang’s death caused indignation in Kenya with protests that are held in justice demands.
Mr. Oywang was arrested after Kenya’s deputy chief Elud Logat filed a complaint, accusing the blogger of defamation of social media.
Last week, Mr. -na login retreated towards the results of the Oywang’s death investigation. He denied any violations.
Three police officers – Samson Kipratsic, Talaam James Mukhvan and Peter Kimani – were charged together with three civilians.
All six appeared in court on Monday but not yet asked.
Police initially said Mr. Oywang died of wounds who had a state of health, but were forced to withdraw a statement after the exposure revealed that he probably died of an attack wounds.
Last week, a street supplier was shot dead in the Nairobi capital during a Nairobi demonstration for Death Mr. Oywang, which caused an upgrade to Kenyans who accused the police of using excessive force against protesters.
