“I’m going on Ozempic. So excited,” the old actress, 39, shared in Instagram’s video update on Sunday, June 22. “I’m 173 (lbs) now, so I hope to go down to 130, which would be amazing.”
Bynes said she tried weight loss medication “so I look better in paparazzi photos and you don’t see my double jaw of strange angles” and vowed to share more updates on her “Ozempic tour.”
Ozempic is a brand name for semaglutide, a GLP-1 medicine developed to improve glycemic control in people with type 2 diabetes. In recent years, semaglutide has also been prescribed to help people who are struggling with their weight to improve their health.
