A second fire breaks out in Pasadena amid strong Santa Ana winds

As firefighters battle fast-moving brush in Pacific Palisade, a second inferno has broken out in nearby Pasadena.

The two fires forced more than 30,000 people to leave their homes. About 200 acres are burning in the Pasadena area as firefighters battle the Eaton fire. Eaton firefighters continue to evacuate as the fire continues to develop.

Strong Santa Ana winds grounded aerial firefighting aircraft, preventing them from flying and hampering aerial bombardment.
