What are you blind? ‘I must have been to be nice to him, ”admitted Thorne-Smith to him Us. “He’s so charming, and I am enchanted by him. (While watching the chapters,) I can remember to fall in love with him then. Because he and I were out of date (and) it was too sweet to watch and go, ‘Oh my God, I remember me, Courtney, watching Andrew do so because my character watches him.’
Shue and Thorne-Smith reunited for the August 2024 episode of “Still the Place,” where they discussed how their real life cut affected their work. Shue remembered that there was “a little time” where it was “rough” on a set, and yet Thorne-Smith insisted that all the suffering was “stunningly strange.”
“Do you remember having to talk to you because the characters were still dating and you and I didn’t date?” She asked Shue. “We were broken up for two months and then we had to kiss. You remember me saying, ‘Okay, now we’re professionals, no tongue?'”
He went on, “We were dating before we dated on the show, then we dated on the show after we broke up in real life. But you and I did segued to friendship very well. I don’t remember much tension.”
Shue agreed with Thorne-Smith’s memory of their partition, though he emphasized the importance of their romance during “very intense time.”
“The show received a lot of attention. I know you’ve already been fairly well known, but we were dealing with a lot, I would call it the fox fame,” he said. “I remember feeling safe knowing that we together take each other through it.”
