Whitfield Brynn offer more details about her decision to leave Real House Wives New York City After two seasons.
“I decided in the reunion that I wasn’t going to do,” Brynn, 39, shared during Wednesday’s episode, June 18, “See below” podcast. “I was like, ‘this is too much.’”
Brynn chose to leave the Bravo show after having conversations with her brother, Neighborand his therapist.
“My brother and therapist were like, ‘We don’t allow you to do this ever again,'” Brynn remembered. (Her departure came after a Fragment a season full of progress and decline, leading to blowing with Costar Changed hassan.)
In spite of his definitive “no” to come back full time, Brynn began to wonder if he might have something similar to Kathy Hilton “Deal,” with reference to Beverly Hills Real House Wives Star appears in a “friend” role only.
“That’s perfect for me because I’m like Kathy. I am just a young, lame version of Kathy. (A) a less rich version of Kathy,” added Brynn. “I want to show (up) a couple of times. I don’t need to catch an apple or diamond. I want to come in. Let me be my dumb self, enjoy it, (then) bye guys. See you later.”
Earlier this month officially announced his exit through social media. He explained on a Podcast’s episode on Wednesday that his post had not been “planned” in advance.
“I knew I wasn’t going to do it,” he said. “I hoped they would either fire me, or I was hoping they would cancel the show. Or they would, ‘Hey, we’ve done casting, we signed everyone. Sorry, Brynn. Thank you.’
In her announcement, Brynn noted her business efforts as part of the reason why she would not return Fragment.
“After a lot of thought, I’ve made the decision to walk away from reality TV. For the time being,” he wrote on June 9.
She remembered the experience as “one of the most fun, chaotic and enchanting chapters of my life” and noted that “the honor of a lifetime” was to help restart Fragment in 2022.
“From the first day I have believed Fragment At a fan show – something really belonged to the viewers is just temporary rangers. I hope I made you laugh (a lot), cry (a little), and most of all – hope that TV in heaven as Mimi (who lived for her shows) could watch me and be proud, ”her statement continued.” To every person who gave me a chance, shouted me on, and gave me love and grace – thank you. “
