Professional A player’s tennis Petra Kvitova retires after upcoming US.
Former World Tennis 2 Tennis Champion, 35, announced that she is retiring after 19 years through Long Instagram statement Made on Thursday, June 18.

Winning my two Wimbledon Championships, bringing six of Billie Jean King’s Billie Cup trophy home for the Czech Republic, arriving in the world’s #2 site and so much more,” he wrote.
The Czech player added: “I have achieved more than I could ever imagine and I am so grateful to everything that tennis has given me all these years. It has taught me innumerable lessons, not only on court or in the gym, but also in life. I would never be today without this beautiful feat, and everything it has given me on and off the court.” “

“As every step in life, a day comes that it’s time to get a new chapter, and that time for me has come now. I wanted to share with you so 2025 is my final season on tour as a professional. I’m excited and really looking forward to soaking in the beauty of the championships, Wimbledon one more time,” is decorated. “And while I’m not yet sure what my hardcore swing in the US will look like, I plan to finish my active play career at the US Open in New York later this summer.”
Kvitova also shared her thanks for her loved ones, fellow players and supporters as she ended her emotional announcement.
“Although no such decision is easy to make, for me this is a happy moment! “Throughout all these years, I am so incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of my family, my closest friends, my team, and all the amazing fans who have always supported me worldwide over all these years.
