Jason Kelce poking fun at himself after a similar contest was held in his honour.
Dozens of doppelgangers gathered at Rittenhouse Square Park in Philadelphia on Saturday, December 14, to be crowned the Philadelphia Eagles center lookalike. Still, according to Kelce, 37, the bar is low.
On the Monday, December 16, episode of ESPN’s Countdown Monday NightKelce expected to talk football, but his cohosts, led Scott Van Peltsurprised him with social media footage of the competition. “What are we doing right now? Why is this -” Kelce asked in confusion.
As his fellow guests made quips about him – “There are five dudes! The guy in the sweater, I thought it was you!” — Kelce poured cold water on the idea that he had a unique look.
“News flash: Any overweight white guy with a beard looks just like me!” he said. “It’s an easy competition. There is nothing unique about any of these gentlemen except that they are big people with beards, and of Caucasian appearance.”
Kelce also gave his opinion on who should have won – and it wasn’t the winner in the end.
“That guy was absolutely right,” he said of one of the top three competitors who wore a cardigan similar to Kelce’s own. big lebowski-an inspirational sweater. Indeed, on Monday, Kelce change his X profile picture to a picture of the individual.
Response to film of the final winner Paul Crossleywho was wearing a maroon sweater, said, “It’s good. I believe the sweater man is more accurate. “
“I have to admit. That’s really me, guys,” he asked about his chosen winner. “I came to myself looking like (a competition) and I lost. He came second.”
Nice as it can be to find yourself akin to competition – Timothée Chalamet his accident – for Kelce, it was a bit of a wake-up call.
“Do you know how depressing it is to know that there is absolutely nothing unique about you?” he joked. “Thousands of people look like you.”
Kelce went on to reveal that he also has a famous doppelganger.
“You know how often I was compared to them Zach Galifianakis?” he told his colleagues. “I love Zach. He’s, like, under 6 feet. Nothing about us is remotely the same. Our hair isn’t even the same type of hair.”
We would watch Kelce in The big head 4!
