“We can do something amazing”

Manager Javier Mascherano insists that his side of Inter Miami can do “Something Amazing” after Lionel Messi had a moment of magic, as the MLS dress came behind Porto to get his first victory in the 2025 Club World Cup.

The result means that Mascherano’s side is on the edge of progressing until the knockout phase, and Miami’s head could not hide his retirement after the game.

“The boys did a fantastic show,” Mascherano told Dazn. “They really worked, very hard against a high quality team.

“But today we can show the world and ourselves that we can compete against any team.

“Players realized that they can do it, they can work together. When we are together, we can do something amazing.

“It’s great for people in the United States to see our team competing in this type of tournament.”
