Grammer was only 13 when his father was shot and killed. Six years later he faced another unimaginable loss when his younger sister, Karen, then 18, rape and murder. In 1980, Grammer faced two other family deaths, losing his younger half brothers at a scuba diving event.
Despite experiencing trauma throughout his life, Grammer has found comfort in his career, which includes five emmys, three Golden Globes and one Tony. The Cheese Alum’s success on television warmed even more with the premiere of October 2023 of its long-awaited Fatten spinoff.
