“Between season 2 ends and season 3 begins, nothing has changed or moved. I would just say that the season was shattered after we had the writers’ room in action. I knew what the tent poles were going to be,” Creator Sarah Lampert she was told only Weekly US that month. “When we wrote 2, there were some things we planned all the way back from season 1. Now there are some other things we were planning from season 2.”
He continued: “But when you are in the writers ‘room is when you (expanded on the story). Nothing had moved between waiting 2 and 3 seasons, but once the writers’ room was up and cooking for season 3 – knowing that we had season 4 changed how we went for this season.”

Brianne Howey
Season 4 continues to concentrate on Georgia’s relationship with her children.
“Georgia really needs to make consistent choices that are different from those she has made in the past. And Ginny really needs to see that,” Lampert noted to them Us The “switch” happened between the mother and the daughter. “Ginny took the mother’s role to get Georgia freely and is actually so that they have the dynamic exchange of power in their relationship.”

“The DNA of those characters is immersed. Two things may be true at the same time. On one hand, Ginny is in a healthy place and she has really set up solid boundaries. She doesn’t take s ***. But at the same time, something has broken in to get there,” explains Lampert. “And Georgia recognizes that. The one thing broke within Georgia. She does not want her children to have to do it.”

“Anyone working on the show will tell you that I’m quickly about the details. I’m specifically with so many things. Then things like diesel grow five years (older), I’m like, ‘anyway.’ Because you can’t control it, ”quoted Lampert. “We can’t re -draw. Austin is a diesel.”

Felix Mallard
Marcus’s mental health issues will continue to be inspected in season 4 after he has checked for rehabilitation.
“Marcus still says he doesn’t want to feel this way-he just wants to feel better. He just wants to be normal. But then we find him a lot self-medication,” added Lampert. “Part of his character he does not admit to himself – we are not even fully explored yet – is, does he really want to heal? Because if you are in active addiction, that answer is often no, you are not. It cannot be the version of himself at present and be in a relationship with Ginny.”
Lampert called this point in their story “very tragic,” saying, “Ginny, for her part, she loves him. They love each other so deeply. Leading with their love for each other is what guides the plot for us. They love each other so much. That scene where he is in the waiting room after her abortion, always so much rock.
Sara Waisglass
According to Lampert, Max may need to Spend season 4 focusing on himself.
“With Marcus, his battles are very evident. This is a child in an emergency and it is very difficult to lose that if you are his family and they are all aware of him. With Max, she really feels the burden of being right because she knows how much her parents are worried about Marcus,” Lampert told us. “For her, there is a real responsibility there because she really has such a good heart. She wants everyone to be right.
Scott Porter
“There are parts of Paul that we still don’t understand and we haven’t seen them. So his resilience and how he bounces from this in season 4, I would love to see some of that. I would love to see a little of the old Paul,” teased Porter Us in June. “We’ve heard how good he is in his job. He was elected Mayor before Georgia has ever walked to his life. I would love to see that fight, that wit, that charm coming back a little in a season 4.”
Raymond Ablat

We see some of that bleeding into season 3,” provoked Lampert Us. “She also explores her sexuality this season in a way you are like, ‘Thank God there is some positivity to Abby when Tris entered the picture.’ She starts to get a little more self-love and we love seeing that.
Douglas also pressed in, adding, “I think Abby is thriving in this new love in her new situation with Tris. Because Tris brings something new out of Abby, which is actually very good rather than toxic. Chelsea Clark
