Kompany Cool after record victory
It was a wrong game and even Bayern’s head, Kompany, refused to go over with superlatives for his players.
He said, “We do not need praise or anything similar, we have only done our job. We played very seriously. We did what we had to do and maybe the difference in goals in this group is not important.
“When a team sits deeply and defends well, it’s not what will score 10 goals. Today we couldn’t have done much more.”

Vicelich proud of his players
It was an approximate afternoon for Auckland, although they deserved a great credit to fight to the end, despite the obvious quality gap.
Acting coach Ivan Vicelich said: “This is the reality of football against one of the most important teams in the world.
“It’s a dream for players from an amateur level to play in this environment.
“We knew it would be a very difficult game, playing against one of the most important teams in the world, possibly one of the favorites of the Club’s World Cup, so we are really proud of the efforts of the players.”
