Sitcom 2009 “Cougar Town” had never hit a huge score; He was constantly about to cancel, with ABC pulling the cord after season 3 and TBS rising and then pulling the string again in season 6. The show starred Courteney Cox of “friends” fame as Jules’s main character, but never came anywhere near the cultural phenomenon that “friends would be sailed” accordingly.
For example, halfway through season 1 Lisa Kudrow appears as a mean dermatologist Jules. In the season 2 premiere Jennifer Aniston stops past playing Jules therapist, and this character is not that nice either. At last Matthew Perry came in season 5, who asks Joles to out on a date after she crashed his car; The story line was extra sweet given that Perry and Cox have Played lovers on “friends” for his last five seasons.
All these gameos were once and for all and none of the characters were intended as standing in for their “friends” counterparts, but there were still constant winks to the audience throughout their scenes. The show treated their appearances as special occasions, although it was not as special that they alienated anyone who had not seen “friends” in advance. Cougar Town had only friends’ reunions; they did the same with scourists
While “Cougar Town” is most famous for his “friends” connection through Courteney Cox, the show also captured the attention of “Scrubs” fans. After all, “Cougar Town” starred Christa Miller, who played Jordan, Moderate Dr. Cox, Jordan. “Cougar Town” was also co-created by Bill Lawrence, The same guy created and run “Scrubs.” Not only did the two shows shared many of the same comedy sensibility as a result, but season 3 included an unofficial reunion for a bunch of the actors “Scrubs”.

He melts down even worse when Ken Jenkins (who played Bob Kelso), Zach Braff (who played JD), and Robert Maschio (who played the Todd) quickly appeared in a rapid successor. It’s a sweet scene, made even more emotional in light Passed Lloyd in 2020.

The craziest crossing event on “Cougar Town” was what happened with NBC’s seating comedy “Community,” which was broadcast during the same years deal with a similar battle against low scales.
