Sir David Beckham described the receipt of a knight King Charles III as “a truly humble honor.”

“Off the field, I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to represent Britain around the world and work with amazing organizations that support communities in need and inspire the next generation,” Beckham continued in the statement.
He added: “I am so lucky to be able to do the work I do and I am grateful to be recognized for work that gives me so much satisfaction. It will take some time for the news to sink in but I’m really proud and it’s such an emotional moment for me to share with my family.”
