When asked to choose his favorite lyrics Love wrote, Stamos – who has been performing with his beloved Beach Boys for four decades – could not help but laugh at some of the creativity his friend had.
“I had a bone to choose with, because ‘excitement’ is not a word,” joking. “I looked at him. ‘I pick up good vibrations. She gives me excitements.’ Mike, there is no excitement.
While the group was first formed in 1961, the songs continue to live thanks to the band’s new members who continue to perform the tracks worldwide.
To this day, Stamos continues to meet new fans who just discover the group who helped create huge hits like “wouldn’t be nice,” “Kokomo” and “Surfin ‘USA.”
“When someone comes to me and says, ‘Did you know, I turned on to the beach boys because A full house.‘That’s the biggest thing,’ said Stamos from Marriott Marquis in New York City. ” That’s my biggest gift to the band that I can bring in new fans. “
