Lea Michele reflected on attending the Met Gala alongside her love at the time, Cory Montith. 12 years after his death.
Talking about her memorable fashion moments over the years through YouTube Series, Gloves away with Nicky Campbell, On Thursday, June 12, the Clay aum Looked back at the couple attending the prestigious event.
“It was my second (Met Gala). The first one I wore Escada, red, first meter ball, deer in head lights, no clue what I was doing,” said Michele, 38, as she talked about her Met Gala Dress. “It was my second one. Cory and I went together that was so excited as we could go. You know you don’t really get anyone to the Met.”
The actress went on to describe the evening as “so much fun.”
“It was one of those moments we were like, ‘What are we doing here?’ We are unclean children … what are we doing here? ”She remembers.

“I had a trip bus that would pass my house in western Hollywood and you would hear, ‘Lea Michele (Is) Rachel Berry on Glee,’ and then I would hear ‘Don’t Rain on my Parade’ playing while I’m sitting in my living room,” Michele shared. “The tour of people (who) died, and after everything happened, this bus would come by.”
Seren Broadway added: “Here I am, 26. This tour bus would go back to my house and every day I would hear these details, and eerie music would play from the tour bus.”
Michele told a podcast host Jake Shane She was ready with how to deal with the death of a partner in such sad circumstances, especially given how young they were at the time.
“It was so sad (and) it was so depressing,” Michele, who dated Monteith while they were Clay Costars, Continued. “I was 26. No one gave me a guide. It was a quick education on more things than I could even process it.”
