Ananda was diagnosed with phase 3 breast cancer in January 2019.

“I was told that my tumor was growing at a modest rate – and the full scope of what they were suggesting I would do to treat it was quite radical,” wrote in Essence. “I was obviously hesitant and I was told I could take the time I needed to decide.”

“I turned into the research and learned that environmental and lifestyle factors influence 90 per cent of what causes cancer,” continued. “So I stopped drinking alcohol. I stopped eating sugar. I cleaned up to get toxins construction in my body out. I started moving the way I control stress. My goal was to do things that supported my body’s ability to remain whole enough to heal, instead of destroying it in advance.”
