Angel Gomes will join Marseille after leaving his French side Lille.
The former Manchester United young man, who has won four caps in England, had been linked to West Ham and Tottenham, but opted for Marseille, where he will be linked to another former player of Mason Greenwood.
The 24-year-old young man could also join Burnley’s CJ Egan-rail in Stade Velodrome after the Clarets confirmed that the defender had rejected the offer of a new agreement to Turf Moor.

A declaration by Marseille read: “Olympique de Marseille announces that it has reached an agreement with Angel Gomes on the arrival of the English international midfielder at the club.”
Egan-Iryley impressed when Burnley reached the promotion of the Premier League again last season, but was also out of contract this summer.
Lancashire’s side was interested in the 22 -year -old, but he agreed that he wants to move on.
They confirmed the departure of the center in a statement referring to him by joining an unnamed league club. It has been widely stated that it is Marseille.
The statement added: “Burnley Football Club can confirm that CJ representatives Egan-Iryey have been informed that the International Ombudsman of England U-21 has formally rejected the Club’s offer of a long-term long-term contract with the club.
