Brian Wilson, the singer who won Grammy who registered the Beach Boys, has died. It was 82.

Wilson’s family before conservatism was requested for his person in February 2024, revealing in court documents that he was suffering from “a major neuroconymmal disorder such as dementia.” They filed the proposal to “make sure that (its) daily living needs (satisfied) and had (had) the best possible care while staying at home.”
The family confirmed the news in a statement shared through X at the time. “Following the death of Brian’s dear wife, Melinda (Ledbetter)After careful consideration and consultation among Brian, his seven children, (housekeeper) Gloria ramos And Brian doctors (and consistent with family processes implemented by Brian and Melinda), we confirm that Wilson Longtime’s family representatives LeEnn Hard and Jean Sievers serving as fellow chanders Brian the person, ”they said.
The statement continued: “The decision has been made to ensure that no extreme changes to the home and Brian and the children living at home will be cared for and stay at home where Gloria Ramos looks after them and the wonderful team in the house that has been in place for many years will help care for the family.”

They adopted five children together during their relationship: Dakota, Daria, Delanie, Dylan and Dash. Wilson was also a dad for women Carnie and Wendywho shared with ex-wife Marilyn Rovell.

Our five children and I are in tears only. We are missing,” he wrote through Instagram. “Melinda was bigger than my wife. She was my savior. The emotional security gave me that I needed a career. She encouraged me to make the music that was closest to my heart. She was my anchor. It was everything to us. Tell her a prayer.”
Born in California in June 1942, Wilson formed the Beach Boys alongside his brothers, Tennis and Carlcousin Mike’s love and high school friend Al jardine In 1961. The group spent the decade releasing a series of popular singles and albums at the top of the charts, but eventually Wilson took a step back from the band in the midst of problems with addiction and mental illness. His career was revived in the mid -90s when he dropped killed from individual albums.
Wilson was set up in the Rock and Role Immortal Gallery with the Beach Boys in 1988. In 2000, he won a place in the Song Composers’ immortal gallery, and in 2007, he received the honor of the Kennedy Center for his contribution to the performing arts.
