Naomi Osaka Confirms Split from Boyfriend and Father of Daughter Cordae

Tennis star Naomi Osaka announced that she had split from her longtime boyfriend Heartsthe father of her 17-month-old daughter, Shai.

“Hi everyone, just wanted to say that Cordae and I are no longer in a relationship,” Osaka, 27, shared via her Instagram Story on Monday, January 6. “No bad blood at all, he’s a great person and an amazing father.”

Osaka added, “That being said this is shaping up to be a great year 😌😉.”

The four-time major champion also expressed her gratitude to her “team and everyone close to me for having my back and keeping me sane (although that’s debatable LOL).

In a separate post, Osaka thanked her “friends around the world (I think saying fans is a disservice).”

She added, “I’ve always said it feels like we’re going through this journey together and I really hope you’re having as much fun as I am ❤️.”
