Davide Ancelotti joins the father as a member of Brazil’s technical staff

Davide Angelotti, son of Brazil’s manager, Carlo, will join his father as part of the configuration of the coach of the national team, has confirmed the Brazilian football confederation.

The appointment continues a professional collaboration between father and son who began more than a decade ago, with Davide after working under Carlo as a coach helping Napoli, Everton, Bayern Munich and more recently in Real Madrid.

Davide had been contentious for the role of Rangers’ lead coach, however, the Scottish club named Russell Martin as new on Thursday.

The 35 -year -old Italian spent some time at ACA Milan Academy as a youth player, will now join the Brazil team at Sao Paulo as one of the team’s attending coaches.

The Brazil Football Confederation said in a statement: “The arrival of Davide Ancelotti to the national team represents another step by the CBF in his search for innovation and technical improvement.

“His international experience and his training methodologies will be essential for the development of players and to build an even more competitive team.

“The CBF welcomes Davide Ancelotti and hopes that his presence will be a significant reinforcement in the Brazilian national team’s trip to his goals.”

Carlo Ancelotti was designated as Brazilian lead coach one year after leaving Real Madrid in May.

The movement marked the first 65 -year raid on international management before the 2026 World Cup.
