Jones said the Mennedez brothers “attract special attention to the media and the leadership of the Democrats who really have no communication with everyday Californians.”
“Listen, The promotion of this and pushing this idea is the opening of the Pandora box for 1600 other killers of special circumstances that are now in prison, and I just can’t support moving in a direction that allows so many people to go on parole, ”Jones said.
“I would claim that if (Meendessa’s brothers) is really rehabilitated that I have doubts about this, but if they are, then perhaps the best place for them is in prison where they can teachers and help other people who come to the prison system to turn their lives too.”

Jones added that the release of Eric and Lila Menendeza does not risk behind.
