The Liverpool has increased its offer for Florian Wirtz up to £ 113 million as the race to sign the midfielder who attacks the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, according to reports.
If successful, Red’s latest offer – a package that would guarantee the Bundesliga Club £ 100 million plus £ 13 million in accessories – would be a club record agreement, but remains below the price of Leverkusen £ 126 million for the player.
Leverkusen, who recently appointed the former Manchester United Chief, Erik Ten, as a replacement by Xabi Alonso, rejected the Premier League Champions League candidacy for the German International last weekend, but seems open to the negotiations after Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

Wirtz has made it clear that he wants to complete a transfer to Anfield. The proposed agreement would exceed a little distance that the £ 85 million Liverpool paid to bring Darwin Núñez from Benfica in June 2022.
The offer of £ 113 million, however, is still shy of the British transfer record of 115 million pounds paid by Chelsea by 2023 by Moises Caicedo de Brighton.
Wirtz, who has spent his entire senior career in Leverkusen and played a key role in the club’s unbeaten league campaign in 2023-24, was again a prominent performer in Germany’s most prominent first term.
The young man, 22, scored 10 goals and brought 12 assists in 31 appearances, as his side could not keep his Bundesliga crown, ending up runners -up in Bayern Munich.
Wirtz also on Wednesday scored his seventh international goal for Germany, in a defeat in the semifinal of the 2-1 Nations League against Portugal.
