“View” co -chairman Woopi Goldberg claimed on Thursday that people do not accept the presidential governor of Wes Moore seriously because “you can’t choose a black man in America.”
Goldberg said she was now asking the Democratic Party because people tell her that Americans are not ready to choose a black man for the presidency, despite the fact that former President Barack Obama has voted twice to the oval office.
“I doubt the Republican Party, and I now doubt the Democratic Party,” she said. “You know, you have someone like Wes Moore, what a perfect candidate … And people say: Well, he know you can’t choose a black man. Why not?”

Other co -chairs immediately pushed Goldberg’s assertion, and Sunny Hostin noted: “We did it twice!” Hizing that Obama – a black man – twice won the national elections.
Goldberg tried to explain his reasoning, but he was quickly cut off by other co -chairs who expressed enthusiasm for the prospects when Moore holds the presidency.
Shortly thereafter, Goldberg explained to the audience that, in her opinion, it was necessary to “change”.

“If we want to change, we will have to do it because you will have to go out and vote,” she said. “Do you know what’s wrong?”
Earlier in the show, Goldberg claimed that although it is not independent, it is also not a republican and democrat.
“No name I am,” she said, laughing at the audience. “There’s no name. Because there are some things that I want, and some things that do not do it. And I say,” Why don’t we have a democratic president and vice president of the Republicans? “
