Contestants to replace Ange Postecoglou in Tottenham after their sacking have begun flooding the market.
Thomas Frank is the initial list, but Spurs also studies several candidates, such as Andoni Iraola de Bournemouth, Oliver Glasner by Crystal Palace and Marco Silva de Fulham.
There has even been an internal discussion on a sensational return of the former head of Mauricio Pochettino, who currently manages the National U.S. national team.
Postcoglou dismissal follows an inconsistent wild campaign. Despite delivering the First Grand Trophy of Tottenham in 17 years with a triumph of Europa League over Manchester United, Spurs ended an unpleasant domestic season, ending only one place above the relegation zone.
The 59 -year -old Australian, which took over in June 2023, became the fourth permanent manager of the club since the departure of Pochettino in 2019.
Its departure reflects the growing urgency of the club to find a long -term stable solution, and this process has been restored, with the cycle planned again under President Daniel Levy.

Frank has transformed Brentford during his six-year spell, guiding the bees into promotion through the championship play-offs in 2021 and establishing them as part of the consistent Premier League.
This season they finished 10th, seven places and 18 points above the Spurs.
According to various sources, the Spurs have already made preliminary consultations on Frank’s availability, with the club seriously considering Dane, 51, as the man to go forward.
His heavy employment relationship with Tottenham’s technical director, Johan Lange, also a Danish, could be a decisive factor in the final decision.
Although Frank previously described Brentford as the “perfect job”, he acknowledged at the beginning of the year that he would not be there forever. His tactical flexibility and calm behavior make him a strong candidate to assume the pressure and expectations for Spurs.
Marco Silva reconstructed his reputation in Fulham, guiding the club to the Middle Table for the last three seasons. The Portuguese coach has been successful in Europe, winning crockery in Portugal and Greece, and his experience at the Premier League adds to his attractiveness.
Although Silva’s pragmatic and structured approach could contrast with the historical preference of Spurs to attack football, its proven ability to manage this level makes it a solid contestant.
Ange Postecoglou will be rightly remembered for giving the first Trophy of Spurs in 17 years, but some of these coatings should not be forgotten. 😅#Thfc #Spurs pic.twitter.com/PH768di1a7

Iraola is widely considered one of the prominent managers of the Premier League this season. The 42 -year -old Spanish led Bournemouth to an impressive ninth place, who had just lost European rating.
Known for its great intensity and style by pressing, Iraola could be a natural adjustment for the Spurs template, echoing elements of the planned style of postcoglou, but with a greater defensive balance. However, with Bournemouth on the rise, Iraola may feel that he has no business on the southern coast.
Oliver Glasner has obtained plauded for an extraordinary spell at Crystal Palace. The Austrian brought the Eagles to a Cup victory on Manchester City and European rating, transforming the club’s perspectives since they took over in February 2024.
Despite his successes, Palau President Steve Parish insists that Glasner will remain in office next season. But with Glasner’s contract until 2026, a serious offer of Tottenham could change the narrative.
Could the previous manager come back? Mauricio Pochettino, who directed Spurs to his best finishes in the modern age and a final in the Champions League, is still the favorite of the fans.
However, it currently has a contract with the United States selection and its launch would require one of the highest compensation payments for international football. Although Pochettino has expressed the desire to return to Spurs a day, its approach remains when driving the United States in the 2026 World Cup on the floor of the house.
Pochettino was looted months after Spurs to a Champions League final.
Mourinho was released six days before the 2021 League Cup final.
Now, Ange Postecoglou has been looted only 16 days after winning the Europa League and ending with a 17 -year -old trophy drought.

Ex -Brighton Manager Roberto de Zerbi is currently enjoying success in League 1, guided Marseille in second place and has achieved the qualification of the Champions League. With Spurs also in the European elite competition next season, a return to England could be in the cards.
It is said that Edin Terzic, who recently left Borussia Dortmund after arriving at the Champions League final, devoted himself to his move to England and has experience in the Premier League since his West Ham assistant point.
Francesco Farioli, the 36 -year -old Italian who impressed Ajax before a dramatic collapse at the end of the season, is also available. Although the Dutch title is running out, its innovative tactics and progressive football have gained attention.
Kieran McKenna is among the most exciting young managers in England. The 38 -year -old man led Ipswich of the League one to the Premier League in record time, and although his side was relegated after a season, McKenna’s style and overflow with a minimum budget have attracted a widespread interest. He recently signed a new four -year agreement at Ipswich.
Xavi, the former Barcelona coach who won the League in 2023, is also available and is open to returning to football. If the Spurs see it as a realistic option is still uncertain.
