Maryland resident Kilmar Abreg Garcia was returned to the US to face criminal liability associated with the alleged unregistered immigrant smuggling ring on Friday, months after he was mistakenly deported to his native Salvador.
Odrego Garcia was charged with a federal court of Tennessee on charges of transportation of unoccupied migrants to the United States.
The lawyer of the married father of three names “abuse of power” and accused Trump administration of “games” with a federal judge who ordered him to return to the United States months ago
The accusation states that both Garcia and others from 2016 to 2025 “agreed to bring unoccupied foreigners from countries such as Guatemala, Salvador, Honduras, Ecuador and other places, ultimately passing through Mexico before moving to Texas.”
A large jury, which has been charged, found that he made more than 100 trips, smoking thousands of immigrants.
The prosecution was handed down on May 21, but remained sealed until Friday, shortly before the Prosecutor General Bondi announced on a press conference Friedan that both Garcia landed in the United States.
“The big jury has found that over the past nine years, both Harcia has played a significant role in alien smuggling,” Bondi said.
“They found that it was his full-time work, not a contractor. He was a smuggler of people and children and women … MS-13 members, a violent gang, members of a terrorist organization across our country.
Bondy said that the ring of both Garcia allegedly participated in the fact that in 2021 in 2021, after the death of more than 50 migrants after the tractor-chapter overturned in Mexico. “
According to the co -authors under his control, he “abused unregistered alien women” and “firearms and narcotics across our country.”
The Attorney General also said: “Relations with the conspirator claimed that the defendant had asked for nude photos and videos of minors.”
And “the co-author also claims that the accused played a role in the murder of the opponent’s mother,” Bondi said. “These facts demonstrate that both Garcia is a danger to our community.”
Bouter Garcia Simon Sandwal-Moshengberg Prosecutor said in a statement to NBC 4 in Washington: “The government has disappeared in a foreign prison in violation of the court ruling.”
“Now, after a few months of delay and secrecy, they return it back so as not to correct their mistake, but to prosecute,” said Sandoval-Moshenberg.
“It shows that they were playing the game all the time. The representative means to defend yourself before you were punished, not after. It is abuse of power, not justice,” said Sandoval-Moshenberg.
“The government should put him in court, yes, but before the same immigration judge who considered his case in 2019, which is the usual way of doing things,” to make sure his case was considered, because it would not have been sent to Salvador, “as the Supreme Court ordered.”
Trump’s administration says both Garcia is a member of the notorious gang MS-13, which the United States is considered a foreign terrorist organization. He denies belonging to the gang
On March 12, both Garcia was detained by US immigration and customs authorities in Merilend.
Three days later, he was deported that the administration later confessed, was a mistake.
Bouter Garcia was subjected to detention in 2019, which prohibits him from rejecting Salvador from the problems he would be persecuted there.
Despite the recognition that he was not supposed to be removed, the Trump administration said he could not return both Garcia to the US, even after the Judge of the District Court Maryland ordered the federal officials to promote his return.
The Supreme Court supported this order in April.
