CBS expands the Blue bloods a universe with its Boston Blue Spinoff – But who forms the cast?

Hudson is expected to portray Lena’s grandfather, the Reverend Peters, who is “the famous minister of a historic Baptist church in Boston.” According to the official character description, the Peters-Silver family patriarch is “an open, welcoming mental man who is comfortable in all traditions, he is happy to preside in the traditional Sunday traditional Baptist service of his church.” Reverend Peters is the father of the Boston area attorney, Silver and grandfather to Lena, superintendent Ashley Silver and Rookie Patrol Cop Isaac Silver.
Maggie Lawson
Lawson has been cast as Superintendent of Boston Police Department, Sarah Silver, who is described as “very aware of the tight that she can sometimes walk between her job and family.”
