New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has announced the designation of a new main coach for the Men’s National Team, marking the start of a new chapter after Gary SteeadThe exit. The decision comes ahead of a crucial international cycle that includes several ICC tournaments and the return of Cricket to the Olympic stage in 2028.
After the weeks of speculation, NZC confirmed that the former White Ball Coach in South Africa Rob Walter The BlackCaps will be in charge of all formats. The 49 -year -old has signed a three -year agreement, replacing Stead, who has been playing the role since 2018. At first, NZC was planning to divide coaching roles between red and white ball formats, but later chose a unified approach.
