PSG star Dembele supported the “100%” for Ballon d’Or by French Coach Deschamps

Ousmane Dembele deserves 100 percent of the Ballon d’Or, according to French coach Didier Deschamps

Dembele is the favorite of the most prestigious individual football prize after playing an instrumental role in the winning season of Paris Saint-Germain, which was capable of a 5-0 route of Inter Milan in the final of the Champions League last Saturday.

The former Barcelona striker did not score at the Allianz Arena show. However, he helped the second and fourth goal, as PSG finally ended his crown of the Maiden Champions League emphatically.

Dembele ended the season with 33 goals and 13 assists in all competitions, and while Barcelona stars in Lamine Yamal and Raphinha have strong cases along with the talisman of Liverpool Mohamed Salah, it is international France that directs the way to the eyes of the books.

It would be the sixth Frenchman who claims the Golden Ballon, and it is surprising that he has the full support of Deschamps.

“Of course, I am for Ousmane, as he is French and with the season he celebrates,” Deschamps told journalists before the semifinal of the Friday Nations League between France and Spain.

“Obviously, this league of nations can provide some response elements, the Club World Cup. If I have to choose, I tell you, 100%, of course.

“If you ask me about the Spaniards, I don’t think they will tell you the same. But obviously, Ousmane, with the season he has, he deserves it.”

Dembele and a clutch of his PSG colleagues are all in the staff of France to face Spain, with Désiré Doué as a dispute to appear in the final of the Champions League. Bradley Barcola, Lucas Hernández and Warren Zaïre-Emery are also in the thoughts of Deschamps, as are the duo between Marcus Thuram and Benjamin Pavard.

“They are here, so I’m counting on them,” Dechamps said about this group.

“I found them (the PSG players) very happy on Monday evening, of course, with a certain fatigue. Then there were Benjamin and Marcus on the other side. The feelings and emotions were not the same.

“Ideally, when there is a peak like this, of course, you must always go down again, but now we have to climb quickly again because the game is near.”

The victory over Spain in Stuttgart would see that the contingent of PSG will return to the scene of its historic triumph, with the winners who will face Portugal in the final in the Allianz Arena Sunday.
