US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he had a “good conversation” with Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling the recent attack on the drones of Ukraine and Iran.
After the main attack of the drone of Ukraine deep inside Russia, Trump said that Putin told him that Russia “would have to answer.”
Trump also warned in a social media report that a phone call that lasted for more than an hour would not “lead to immediate peace”.
Both leaders also discussed Iran, and Putin suggested that he could help with the country’s nuclear negotiations.
The conversation between the two leaders notes the first since June 1, Ukraine has started a brazen attack that strikes Russian aviation bases, focusing on nuclear bombers.
In his post, Trump said that Putin told him “very strongly” – that he would have to respond to recent attacks on airfields. ”
Last week, Trump seemed to set a two -week time for Putin, threatening to change how the US responds to Russia when he believes that Putin still “presses” him for peaceful efforts in Ukraine.
The comment was one of Trump’s public criticisms, which previously said that Putin went “absolutely crazy” and “plays with fire” when Russia strengthened unmanned attacks and missile attacks on targets in Ukraine.
Trump did not mention the term or his previous comments on Wednesday on his social platform.
