Contrary to the recent reports, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has announced that a parade of wins will take place on Wednesday (June 4) to celebrate its historic IPL triumph.
Recent reports stated that the parade has been canceled because Bengaluru police did not give permission due to the strong traffic congestion in the city.
The franchise had previously announced that the parade would begin at 15:30, from Vidhana Soudha and concluding M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in the Garden City.

However, reports stated that the parade had been canceled because police did not give it a green light. The report also added that although there would be no parade, the players and attendance staff would be congratulated at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

However, the franchise has now announced that a wins. The parade would begin at 5pm and will be followed by celebrations at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The start and end points of the parade have not changed.

“The victory parade will be followed by celebrations at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. We ask all fans to follow the guidelines established by the police and other authorities, so that everyone can enjoy the route calmly.”

Before the parade begins, the players and the support staff would also visit the Vidhana Soudha and would meet with Karnataka Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah.

RCB had played three finals before the season and lost them all. They played their first final in 2009 and lost against the Ara Defunts Decan Chargers. In 2011, they suffered a loss against Chennai Super Kings before losing against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016.
