Katie Thurston keeps him real with her followers in the middle of her A continuous cancer journey.
“I wanted to make weekly checks that are just like unbearable raw emotions, from whatever comes to my mind. I have just finished my second month of treatment and if you ask how long treatment is, technically forever,” said Thurston, 34, Instagram On Sunday, June 1. “I’m optimistic about future medical advances. Fingers crossed as Girly Step 4.”
He continued, “But at the moment, after finishing two months of my medicine, my hair comes out in an unnatural amount of clusters. Working on that. I lose my memory. That’s great. Going through habits and they are like, ‘Where are you from?’ And I looked at him and I was like, I don’t remember.
Thurston shared that she and her husband, Jeff Archesgone into “a little disagreement.” (Weekly US Break the news in March that Thurston tie the knot with the comedian.)
“I was like, ‘This has happened before.’ It was like, ‘When?’ I was like, ‘I don’t know but I know he’s!’ ”He said. “We can laugh about it now. But yes, cancer is ** p. Sometimes I’m like, ‘Stop feeling bad for yourself.’ Another time I’m like, ‘You get to feel bad for yourself.
The former Bachelorette shared that it was at the stage of the treatment where she has to make “big decisions” about how to treat her liver, whether that is radiation, ablation, histotripsy – she shared is what she is going to do with NYU.
“Anyway, it’s National Cancer Survivors Day. Every day I’m alive, I’m a survivor,” he said. “So go me, probably.”
Thurston shared that Zoladex, a medicine used to treat hormone-dependent cancers, did not work-leading her to get her time, and said it was “not supposed to happen.” Thurston noted that she is changing to Lupron, and if that doesn’t work, her ovaries may need to be pulled out.
“Not ideal. But the holidays were nice. Now I’m back on it again in New York City trying to live my best life as a Af ** King cancer patient,” he said. “I’m sorry I’m not going to mean that. I’m going to end this because I want it to be real to be a truth, probably. Anyway, happy Sunday.”

Thurston shared in February that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Next month Thurston confirmed that the cancer was spreading to his liver, make it step four.
