Kelly Bensimon in the mind of a fellow Real House Wives New York City aum Bethenny FrankelA recent move was insightful.
“I think moving to Florida is always a good idea when you’re on that second step in your life,” said Bensimon, 57, Weekly US On Wednesday, May 28, when going to Miami Swimming Week.
“It’s a home state, so it’s really good to protect your finances,” he continued. “So that was a really graphical move, right for her and just relax and take these next whatever it is – 30 years – and she really only enjoys it. I think that’s a great idea for her.”
Frankel, 54, announced her first decision to move to the State of Heulwen along with her daughter, Bryn, in April, noting “personal and professional reasons.”
“I’m moving to Florida for personal and professional reasons,” said the reality TV star at the time via Instagram video. “Something has arisen that did this the best and healthiest for myself and my daughter.”
A month later, Frankel opened for the reasons behind the move, admitting to fans that she had not been “completely honest” for her motives.
“” Friends know it very because I look like a social person, but I’m not!
She went on to explain that she had been discussing the move for a while with her daughter, Bryn, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy.
“We were out in the Hamptons, and then I moved to the suburbs and thought it was going to be amazing,” he continued. “It became a cave where I was lonely and at home and never did anything. The only time I’d have fun would be when I got out of town.”
While Florida is now her main place of residence, Frankel hosts a home in New York City – and ultimately hopes that her florida movement will revive her love for the big apple.
“I ironically think this move is going to revive my relationship with this city,” he said. “I’ve just been keeping this inside, because when you have something happening you can’t change it, you don’t talk about it.”
