Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Battle coach Dinesh Karthik praised RCB’s pattern, skateboarding, as a qualified side for the IPL final for the fourth time. Patidar has been an influential pattern for the side this season.
RCB retained skateboarding, but did not think that time would make the team’s new pattern skate. After the mega auction, they did not have many options to choose from and therefore selected skateboarding to lead the side.
Patidar did not leave the direction and took his side to the IPL final in his first stage.

Dinesh Karthik to Rajat Patidar
Dinesh Karthik stated that the largest eye workshop for him in his life is to scream. Dinesh Karthik believes that when people suddenly get power, they tend to change, but patient remains the same throughout the season.

Patidar played the role for his leadership skills on the domestic circuit, as he led Madhya Pradesh in the final of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in the 2024-25 season. RCB had experienced players in the squad like Kohli, Krunal Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, but the RCB direction showed him in him and named pattern.
RCB’s success under skateboarding
RCB closed the league stage in second place despite having multiple injuries to the camp. They won only one home game, but the Maximum of RCB won all games at IPL 2025 was sensational.
Patidation was also injured in some games and did not capture the side in a few games. Josh Hazlewood, Jacob Bethell and Devdutt Padikkal were ruled out of the tournament. RCB also lost Tim David and Phil Salt for a few games during the tournament due to injury.

Rajat scored 286 runs in 14 games with an average of only 23.83 with a strike rate of 142.29. Patidar started off the season very well, but fell after that and looked in a way in the last five games.
RCB has qualified for the Final IPL 2025 for the fourth time, and skateboarding will be in the Grand Final and will help his side to lift the first IPL title.
