Inzghi knows that Inter Milan must “suffer” to prevail in the Champions League final

Inter Milà may atone for its 2023 Champions League heart when they face Paris Saint-Germain in the final on Saturday, but Simone Inzagoni knows that he will have to suffer to do so.

Nerazzurri went out agonizing in the last two years, losing 1-0 against Manchester City in Istanbul.

Inzghi’s men have enjoyed an excellent campaign in the first edition of the Reated Champions League, losing only one of his eight games in the league phase, a defeat in Bayer Leverkusen. They drew the resale with the city 0-0 and defeated Arsenal 1-0 in San Siro.

In the timing phase, Inter eliminated Feyenoord, Bayern Munich and Barcelona en route to the final, winning an epic semi -final with the Barça player in an additional time to puncture his ticket at the Allianz Arena sample.

In PSG, however, they will face the team that many consider to be the best of this season’s competition, one about a crisis and watching their first champions League crown, despite seeing Kylian Mbappe leaving Real Madrid in the previous summer transfer window.

And since the caliber of his opponents, Inzghi has no excitement about the difficulty of the final.

“We have to face Paris, knowing that there will be times when we will suffer and other times when we will have the ball and they will have to defend themselves,” said Inzghi.

“Details and moments are key. We have to go out there with the desire and determination to win the game. PSG is a very strong side, but we will play at our strengths.

“So far we have had a very hard race, facing the city, Arsenal, Bayern and Barça, but we have arrived so far and we do not want to stop here.

“With Inter always it is a great game, but when it is final, it is different. We deserve to be here, from our first game in the city, but we are still in a step.

“We know what is an important match. Winning and losing makes the difference in the world.”

The defeat would see Inter end that was an impressive season without a trophy. Inter was dethroned in Series A, as Napoli defeated them on a pulsation of Scudetto Race, while Arch Rivals AC Milan defeated them in the Italian supercopp and ravaged the men of Inzghi in the semifinals of Coppa Italy.

“We have succeeded and desperate in series A, so as players and I as a coach, we have spent everything,” added Inzghi. “But the job is to put a big smile on the faces of our fans.

“The whole north curve will be behind.”
