It makes the shape of the heart with the hands, and the crowd replies – the fence begins to bend when they push it.
This fun scene was shot on Tuesday, on the opening day of the help center – a vital life circle for gaskets who did not see that fresh stocks are getting into the lane for more than two months from the Israeli blockade.
But to this day, the scene was one of the common chaos. The video was shown The distribution center has overcome desperate civilians trample over the hurdled barriers; People who shuddered like firearms.
It was a small start of a new contradictory assistance scheme managed by the Gaza Gamanitarian Fund (GHF), a recently created body supported by the United States and Israel.
GHF was instructed to feed desperately hungry gas. The UN said more than two million are at risk of hunger.
A fund that uses armed US security contractors is aimed at bypassing the UN as the main gas assistance provider. He was severely convicted and boycotted by the UN assistance and the UN. But Israel stated that to stop Hamas’s assistance, which the group denies.
To take pictures of the first few days of this new delivery system, the BBC Verify conducted an authentication of a dozen images on the distribution sites, interviewed humanitarian and logistical experts, analyzed Israeli transport data and official statements published by GHF, and spoke with gas.
GHF said that during the first week of operations, it was directed at a million gases for four safety distribution places.
The Foundation’s press -secretary said on Friday, the fourth day of the operations that he had posted two million meals. BBC could not check this figure that would be less than one meal per gas for four days.
GHF did not respond to our requests on how it was tracking who received them.
In the video shot on the Northern GHF near Nuseirat, Palestinians can see that the perimeter fled after the GHF contractors threw a projectile that exploded with a loud blow, flash and smoke.
GHF said in his statement that his staff “collided with a tense and potentially dangerous crowd that refused to disperse.”
“In order to prevent escalation and ensure the security of civilians and employees, unpopulated restraints were deployed, including smoke and warning into the ground,” the statement reads.
“These measures were effective,” added it, “and the injuries did not happen.” BBC Verify cannot independently confirm this.
Later this evening, GHF warned Gazanov via Facebook that it would close any site where the robbery took place.
GHF is not the only assistance organization that faces serious problems. At night before the GHF warning, Was looted by the Wine Food Program (WFP)leading to several deaths that are still being investigated.
In response to the WFP incident, the humanitarian problems “came out of control” and immediately called “a safe, unobstructed humanitarian access”.
WFP did not answer BBC questions about how it will implement additional security measures in its warehouses.
Palestinians seeking help characterized the operation under the guidance of GHF as disorganized, saying that the lack of communication contributed to the chaotic scenes observed this week.
Things were even more confused by misinformation. BBC Verify has seen at least two Facebook profiles, which are supposed to be the official GHF records that share inaccurate information about the state distribution centers.
One page with more than 4,000 followers posted inaccurate information, sometimes near the Imi AI, which was suspended that the assistance was suspended or looting at GHF centers was confused.
GHF press secretary confirmed the BBC to make sure that both of these Facebook accounts were fake. He also said the fund launched the Facebook official channel.
Transparency information on the Internet showed that the page was first created on Wednesday, the next day after the distribution.
The Oxfam Assistance Organization and the Gazana locals reported the BBC that residents are instead leaning on their lips to spread on information when assistance was available.
“All people are hungry. Everyone struggles to get what we want as we have to get something?” said Um Mohammad Abu Hajar, who could not provide help on Thursday.
Oxfam criticized the location of the GHF distribution sites, informing the BBC to make sure that it imposed “military control over help operations”.
This is an advisor on politics, Bushr Khalid, also asked how vulnerable people, such as the elderly, will be able to reach these sites, which are located at some distance from some settlements.
When the UN assisted in the humanitarian blockade of Israel, there were 400 distribution points. The current GHF distribution system currently has four famous sites.
“By and large, it is designed to sharply increase the population concentration, having the only sources of nutrition that remained in a very small number of places,” said Chris Newton, a senior analyst at a crisis tank group founded in Brussels.
“You either follow all their rules and probably survive in a small radius around these areas, or you are very unlikely to survive.”
The presence of armed security and Israeli soldiers on or near them also alerted the experts who stated that it had undermined faith in the help surgery.
“The location of assistance in such conditions is extremely difficult.
The GHF press -secretary said: “Our abilities – and readiness – to act under pressure, which is why GHF remains one of the uniform organizations that are still capable of delivering critical gas aid today.”
Images and videos made by eyewitnesses and Israeli servicemen showed that GHF boxes were limited by canned food, pasta, rice, culinary oil and some cookies and lentils.
“Humanitarian aid is not just a food box on which you stall the humanitarian, and you call it humanitarian aid,” said Ms. Khalid.
Deliveries provided by families should be accompanied by medical support, hygiene and water purification kits, said Professor Gordon.
14-page document from GHF, See the BBCThey promised to distribute water and hygiene sets.
On Friday, only one of the four GHF sites distributed help. It opened in less than an hour, after which GHF announced on Facebook that he closed because all his supplies were “completely common”.
When asked by the BBC, make sure why only one site acted and why its boxes were over so fast, the GHF press said that deliveries “will change day by day”.
“Good news is that we have provided two million meals in four days and we will increase in the coming days and weeks,” said the secretary -secretary.
But many still return from the distribution sites without boxes for their families.
“I’m empty-handed as God created me,” Khans said lunch outside the center near Netarim on Thursday.
“I came empty -handed and I left empty hands.”
