Swat‘S. David Lim break his silence after Shemar MooreAn upcoming spinoff was raised with no other cast members involved.
“I’ve been sitting with everything that came out last week, and I want to say this,” wrote Lim, 41, through Instagram On Thursday, May 28. “Being part of SWAT for the last 8 seasons has been one of the great honors of my life. I poured my heart to play until – and even more, into the team and the friendship we built on and off the screen.”
Lim reflected on the Group dynamics behind the scenesAdd, “Not just what Swat did in the action, or one character. It was the bond. The friendship. The shared blood, sweat, tears, and laughter we gave to each episode. That effortless chemistry was there from day one we came together for the pilot, and it was carrying through the 8 seasons.”
When discussing the show’s multiple cancellation, Lim approved his ex -postings for working together to advocate for renewal.
“I’m proud of how we fought for a ninth term. We thought we still had more to give, more stories to tell. We wanted it for our crew, over each other, and for the newer faces joining us,” he continued. “It wasn’t in the cards for all of us – and that’s fine. We got a magical run and went out on a high note with those two last chapters.”
Lim acknowledged he did not love to hear about Sony TV photos arrangement Swat: Exiles with only Moore attached to appear.
“I would lie if I said that the introduction of the new spinoff did not pick. It was difficult to see only two days after our end – with no mention of the cast that helped build a SWAT from day one,” he continued. “After 8 amazing seasons, it felt like we were brushed aside when there could be a moment of reflection and acquaintances – for the people who built this show, and for the impact it had on so many.”
The actor have addressed the pouring out of love That he and the rest of the SWAT alums received from the play, writing, “I’ve seen the comments, the messages, the support – and really means a lot. I may not know what the future has for a fire, but we can’t be more proud of what was created together – our cast, writers, producers, crew, crew… rolling us with us.

Niko Pepaj and Annie Ilonzehwho starred opposite Lim in the eighth season and final season of the show, also answered after staying tight on the spinoff play. “He said very well David🫶🏽🤎,” added Ilonzeh.
Earlier this month, Swat. ended after eight seasons on CBS. Two days later Moore, 55, confirmed that he Would lead a subsequent series For Sony TV photos where his character “is taken out of compulsory retirement to lead an experimental SWAT unit on a final opportunity that includes the testable Young Recruits of Anagos,” according to the summary.
