England, Gus Atkinson, suffered an injury to Zimbabwe in a single test game, and now the leadership of England has given him time to recover from the right tension.
Gus Atkinson will miss the series of three games against the West Indies, which will begin on May 29 in Edgbaston.

Injury to Gus Atkinson
Gus Atkinson felt discomfort in the second entry of the Zimbabwe test and launched only three points on the last day of the test game at Trent Bridge.
The English Pealer will now be under the supervision of England’s medical staff. There are no reports disseminated by the England Cricket Board on the return to Atkinson.
“A rehabilitation period will now be spent under the supervision of England’s medical team. No replacement to the hatred template will be added.” The ECB said in a statement.
Gus Atkinson’s return for the Indian Testing series is not confirmed, but according to English media reports, Atkinson will be suitable for the five -tests against India, which will begin on June 20.
The ECB has not announced a replacement of Atkinson’s replacement to the hatred for the three -party hate series against the western Indies.
Jofra Archer also ruled out of the western Indian series
Jofra Archer was also on the team of England for the Hate series against the western Indies, but was also ruled out due to a thumb injury.
Archer suffered the thumb injury at IPL 2025 before the tournament suspension and did not return to the IPL after suspension. Archer is also controlled closely by England’s medical team and is likely to return to the Indian Testing series.
