Enzo Maresca, the main coach of Chelsea, could not hide his smile after guiding the Blues again in the Champions League for the first time in two years.
The two winners of the competition finished fourth at the Premier League after defeating Nottingham Forest on the last day.
The two fallen points of Newcastle and Aston Villa meant that the London club jumped behind Manchester City and will join with Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham in the elite competition next season.
Speaking after the game, Maresca was full of praise for their squad, saying: “They grow a lot as a team and a player, and they showed how good they are today.
“I hope yes, we have brought this club where it should be. We finish sixth last year and most of the time, they forget it.
“The only thing I knew was when Man United marked the second. They told me 2-0. We didn’t need the rest to drop points, we won.”
Captain Reece James had a brilliant game in defense, keeping the forest at bay and celebrating wild in full time.

After recovering from more injury problems, he, next to his head, could not hide his delight in the celebrations after the party, but insisted that there is still one more party.
And he added, “” It’s an incredible feeling.
“We knew coming here the last day would be difficult. They have had an incredible season: they have such a threat that they are moving forward.
“We had to dig. Both needed to win, but I’m so happy that the team did the job today.
“We are talking about being the best teammate and everyone has shown it today.
“So many people before the season, during the season they had disbelief; they told us that” we were young, without experience and that we were not going to do it. “
“But we are here.
“The season has been long and hard. We started so well, but then we bathed.
“We enter another end and we have our eyes on the prize.”
