The episode starts with Abira admitting that she was stupid for breaking the bench where Armaan had lovingly written her name. Armaan arrives with a new name board, making her smile. He says, “You came to me as a responsibility, then you became a need for me, and now, you have become my life. If I have you, I have everything. Will you be my wife? Will you marry me?” She hugs him, replying, “Did you think about this now? I thought my proposal was nice, but you’ve outdone me.”
He responds, “Stop rating our offers and answer me.” She teases, “As if you didn’t know my answer. Yes.” He explains, “I mean, will you marry me tomorrow without the consent and blessing of the elders?” She drops the name board, saying, “You know I want to marry you, but…” He interrupts, “Say yes or no.” She says, “Yes.”
He puts the name board on the bench, declaring, “We’ll get married tomorrow and then get our own house.” She asks, “Will we stay apart from the family?” He replied, “You said you loved me; then trust my decision.” She tries to explain, but he insists, “Daddy will never accept you. I can’t see you being insulted. I love you.” She says, “I love you more. Try to understand; we should take this step.” Ruhi hears them.
Armaan says, “I will wait for you at the Radha Krishna temple tomorrow.” Ruhi returns home, declaring, “I will tell Dadisa everything.” Manisha stops her. Ruhi insists, “I need to talk to Daddy.” Manisha asks, “Does it matter?” Ruhi replied, “It’s private; I can’t tell you.” Manisha said, “I feel sleepy. Mummysa had a headache; he took medicine and slept. Do not disturb her. Be well and talk to her in the morning.” Ruhi leaves.
Armaan packs his bag. Abira calls him. He says, “I know what you want to discuss. I won’t change my decision.” She calls again, saying, “I know you’re my family, and I’m yours, but we can’t forget your family.” A box falls; she finds keys, clicks a photo, and sends it to him, texting, “I want love and a family.” He replied, “Perhaps a family is not in your destiny. We’ll make our new family.” He calls the broker, asking, “Did you find the house? Please send me the details and pictures.
My wife and I will change tomorrow.” Vidya came to Abira with a dress, saying, “This is for you.” Abhira wonders if Vidya knows about Armaan’s plans. Vidya continues, “It’s a special day for you and Armaan, your first Teej. Is there anything else?” Abira responds, “No, only Teej.” Vidya says, “You fast and pray for him.” Abira asks, “Will Daddy agree?” Vidya leaves. Abira reflects, “You could not convince Daddy; is Armaan alright?”
Armaan writes her name next to his, saying, “I am ready to spend my life with you.” Abira thinks, “I am ready to wait for Dadi’s permission.” Ruhi arrives and argues with her. Abira asks her to leave and help someone else. Ruhi leaves. The next morning, Rohit wakes up and asks Ruhi, “Are you spreading chuna (slaked lime)?” Ruhi replied, “Yes, it makes the mehendi color darker.” He asks, “Do you want to strengthen our relationship?” She says, “I am in your house, having mehendied your name, and kept a fast for you. Do I need to say more?” He smiles and leaves. She thinks, “I have to talk to Daddy.”
Manish and Surekha reach the Poddar house. He seems angry. Ruhi and everyone welcome them. A man approaches, saying, “I want to meet Armaan and give this key.” Ruhi says, “I will give it.” He explains, “It’s for his new house. He said he would move there after getting married today.” She responds, “I’ll give it to him, thanks.” She thinks, “Armaan are you getting married and leaving this house? No, I can’t let this happen. I have to talk to Daddy.”
