In a final of the Wembley Championship, Sunderland won a 2-1 dramatic victory over Sheffield United thanks to the impressive Academy Stop Stop Stop strike, Tom Watson.
The Black Cats reached a return from the Premier League after eight years of distance with a performance that grew at the end of the game in the capital.
Sheffield United, who had finished 14 points ahead of Sunderland in the regular season, stormed ahead.
In the 25th minute, they broke the deadline through Tyrese Campbell, which was excellently created by Gustavo Hamer.
Hamer clearly exploded in the counterattack, dropping Campbell behind the defense with a perfect pass. The striker maintained his composition with Chip Anthony Patterson and sent the fans of blades to raptures.
The first half was largely dominated by Chris Wilder’s team, who created a series of possibilities. Moore had a header that stuck from the line for Patterson during the initial minutes, while Burrows thought he had doubled the lead with a powerful strike that was obtained by Var for obstruction.

Maya, who has been excellent this season, did not make a mistake, shaking his shot in the upper corner to carry the Sunderland level.
The final stages of the party were a frantic thing. Sheffield United promoted a winner, but Munderland grew more and more dangerous at halftime. A series of substitutions, including the introduction of Tom Watson, turned out to be the difference.
As the clock was marked in the 100th minute, extended by the injuries and a long VAR control, Watson seized itself.
Moore lost his possession halfway and Watson went forward, weaving his way to the box. With steel nerves, the 18 -year -old traced a low shot beyond the desperate immersion of Michael Cooper and the lower right corner, igniting the pandemonium among the Sunderland faithful.

Watson’s celebrations were as passionate as his finish: removing his shirt and winning a yellow card in the process, but no one blank would have imported. It was the perfect shipping for the young man, which is scheduled for a summer transfer to Brighton.
Sheffield United did not have time to answer, as the final whistle followed shortly after Watson’s heroic. For the leaves, Wembley’s heart continues, expanding its unpleasant record in the play-off finals.
For Sunderland, it marks a triumphant return to the upper flight and a fairy tale that ends its promotion.
