Hall grabbed his phone and recorded the stranger who then threatened to “split” her neck, according to the film. The stranger also shared a location where Hall could find him. While the incident was scary for Hall, she expressed how “grateful” was that it wasn’t “worse.” Hall had “some swelling at the point of impact” near his jaw and ear. She also had a “headache.”

“I’m grateful that I was me and not someone who couldn’t take the blow or the fall. I’m hopeful that the guy gets the help and services he needs clearly. “Stay safe and stay aware. And if it happens to you, don’t let anyone convince you to let it go. The problem is so big and so layered but it’s not an excuse that nothing can be done. I’m ❤️🩹 NYC.”
