Influencer General Hall Had a scary encounter when out in New York City.
“On Wednesday, May 14th, around 10:30 am I was born in his head by a passing stranger,” wrote the author, 44, by Instagram On Tuesday, May 22. “I wasn’t going to post this as a reel… but there are a few pieces of the story that I hadn’t shared and I think they’re important to my Ues community and with -nyers knowing.”
In the post, Hall included a clip of surveillance photos of the event which showed her to be punched and cast down on the ground while on a walk.
“First. I wasn’t on my phone when it happened. I didn’t distract me,” he continued. “It wasn’t unsafe now. I even noted the guy when I saw him, but I only saw a strange flick in his hand (you can see in the movie) I realized that something wasn’t right.”
Hall grabbed his phone and recorded the stranger who then threatened to “split” her neck, according to the film. The stranger also shared a location where Hall could find him. “Second. The police took (about) 30 minutes to arrive and after they did, even after showing the video with the guy shouting threats, acting as he was not a big deal,” he claimed. “I remember saying, ‘So because I’m not bleeding, a punch to the head is right?!’”
He continued: “Third. When I refused to abandon and only after I told them I had a headache … they agreed to go in the direction that the man shouted in the video and made me go with them, despite having video photos clearly knowing him.”
Hall added that making her face her attacker was a “terrifying” experience. He also claimed that the police did not assist in getting the movieThat was something she and her husband achieved Michael.
“The cops walked into the nail salon when I noted the camera, but said that only the owner had access to the film,” he said. “My husband Michael went back later and happily the salon linked him to the owner who found the film immediately and sent him. He took five minutes.”
While the incident was scary for Hall, she expressed how “grateful” was that it wasn’t “worse.” Hall had “some swelling at the point of impact” near his jaw and ear. She also had a “headache.”
“I’m grateful that I was me and not someone who couldn’t take the blow or the fall. I’m hopeful that the guy gets the help and services he needs clearly. “Stay safe and stay aware. And if it happens to you, don’t let anyone convince you to let it go. The problem is so big and so layered but it’s not an excuse that nothing can be done. I’m ❤️🩹 NYC.”
