Barcelona’s main coach, Hansi Flick, has signed an extension of contract after guiding the Catalan club to a trepid domestic in its first season.
The new agreement will be developed until 2027 and arrives after a first year full of trophies by the German of 60 years.
BarΓ§a claimed the title of LaLiga earlier this month after raising the King’s Cup and the Spanish Super Cup, surpassing the fierce rivals of Real Madrid at the two finals.
They also arrived at the Champions League semifinal, and finally fell to Inter Milan after an exciting two -legged tie.

Flick was initially designated in a two-year agreement in May 2024, but the new agreement will see him extend it to 12 months.
In a statement, Barcelona greeted Flick to return to the “excitement” to the club and to return them to Europe.
“Hansi Flick has made BarΓ§a fans happy in their first season for many reasons: because of the belief he has given to the team, for epic comebacks and for trophies,” the statement said.
“The excitement that the German has brought to the club in its first year in charge has made FC Barcelona a dreaded rival again in Europe.
“Hansi Flick is creating history at FC Barcelona and will surely continue in the coming seasons.”
