Hearn is not pleased because the 46 -year -old Pacquiah blocks his plans for establishing a unification struggle between IBF and the 147 -pound champion of WBA, Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis and Barrios. Indicate that Pacquiao is “Anywhere near the world level” After being inactive since 2021. It is just an example of the direction that is taking the sport.
The former UFC heavy weight champion Francis Ngannou should not have allowed Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua to fight in his first and second fight in his career. It was still allowed to happen. Terence Crawford should not be allowed to jump two classes of weight to jump -in the front of the line to challenge Canelo Alvarez for his undisputed championship. I hate saying, but the boxing is transformed into the WWE, where anything goes.
“All champions are on the boot radar. I still think it is strange. I still think it is strange that Manny Pacquiao will fight for a world title. Five years off the ring, and not in any place near the world FighthypeReaving Manny Pacquiaso who left his retirement to challenge the WBC’s heavy weight champion Mario Barrios on July 19.
Barrios is vulnerable enough to lose Pacquiao. If the Filipino star is near the level it was in 2019 when he defeated Keith Thurman, he will be too much for Barrios. The 29 -year -old was elevated to the full title of the 147 LB WBC outside the ring.
Barrios did not win the belt in the traditional way. Initially he captured the provisional title of the WBC with a unanimous 12 -round decision on Yordenis Ugas, which came out of a long dismissal, eye injury and a loss for Errol Spence.
