As Duck dynasty aum Phil Robert continues to fight Alzheimer’s, his wife, Kay Robertsonfaces its own health challenges.
“Dad doesn’t do well at all. He definitely moves on,” their son Willie Robertson shares only Weekly USLatest cover story. “And Mum has shown the same kind of symptoms of Alzheimer’s or dementia. It’s just part of life – and Mum has her good days.”
Willie, 53, states that it is “great” to have his mother to make an appearance on the forthcoming series Duck Dynasty: The revivalbut say Us Fans of the original reality show should not expect frequent cameos. “She’s probably not going to be able to do that in the future,” he said. “It has more health problems too. But we’re there.”
The close relationship of the family has been stronger than ever in the heart of Phil, 79, and Kay’s health is battling. “We (still) spend time together, but they lived a great journey and taught us a lot,” said Willie Us. “(My wife) Korie (Robert))) and I appreciate what we were able to do on Duck dynastyto be able to see that. “

They thought they had done everything in life. And so, for them to have that last push and be on television, and I’m very glad people are seen and enjoyed it when we had that time. “

Willie agreed that the health of his parents gave him more appreciation for the “small, small moments” in life, as well as bringing him and his brothers and sisters closer. “I’m glad they are here,” he said. “I’m glad I’m seen a lot, too, because I know many families don’t get to see each other much, but we’re doing. It has really meant a lot.”

“A kind of silver lining, blessing in disguise, is that their love for each other is so common in the most beautiful way through such a tragic situation,” said Sadie, 27, Us. “Seeing two people love each other that, who have loved each other since they were 15, is so inspiring in love and going through hard times. And so, it has been very difficult to watch go through what they have gone through but see them comfort each other and it has been really beautiful.”
