The champion of Bantamweight WBC, along with Nakani (30-0, 23 kos), is already looking for his fight against unification against the Ibf Ryosuke Nishida champion (10-0, 2 kos) scheduled for June 8 at Espn+, speaking of a clash against Naoya Inoue at 122. Together he says he must give him a hand.
He is worried that if he drops Naoya, he will rise again and continue to fight hard. This would be bad for Nakatani because he has to deal with the power of Inoue, to the combined punch and the defensive capacity. Together he has much more to worry about that Inoue goes up again. He is too defective with his style of struggle to have the opportunity to beat Inoue. This is the real problem that Nakatani does not see. I don’t know that this can change this. It is not limber, and its movements are slow compared to those of Inoue.
Few people are giving Nakatat’s opportunity very opportunity against Inoue because it is slow, robotic and has a mechanical style that would be easy for Inoue to collect piece by piece. Together he has to change the way he struggles to become more fluid to defeat Inoue, because he has an easy time with this tin style.
Nakatani does not have the experience of fighting someone like Naoya Inoue. For some reason, its promoters have been protected and did not put it with the type of degree fighters they need to be ready for “monster” inoue.
The last three weak opponents of Nakatani, David Cuellar, Petch Sor Chitpatana and Vincent Astrolabi, are examples of how his promoters have coincided with him. To be prepared for a fighter like Inoue, Nakatani should fight boys like Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez, Marlon Tapales and Ramon Cardenas in this order.
Without Nakani fighting this type of fighters, it is impossible to take it seriously like having a chance against Naoya. He is a good speaker, but he has not shown the discomfort to take on talent. It should go up to 122 and take the best contenders to prepare -better for Inoue. After three or four fights, Nakatani could have improved enough to get a shot to win. Then “the monster” will have aged a little more and it has softened.
27 -year -old Nakatani is in Pipeline to face “The Monster” inoue next year, as long as Nishida is overthrown. Super Bantamweight’s undisputed champion, Inoue, has to win its next struggle in September against WBA Provisional Champion, Murodjon Akhmadaliev.
“He has the experience of leaving -being demolished and recovered -and winning a fight,” Nakani said Ring Magazine. “This is a credit for him. If I demolished him, I have to ensure -not to get up again.”
